Obituary of Rhonda Dale Dotson

Hillsboro, Tennessee – Ms. Rhonda Dale Dotson, age 64, of Hillsboro, TN, passed from this life Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at her residence. Rhonda was born on May 8, 1958, in Roswell, NM, to her parents Dale and Elsie Dotson. She was a special education assistant at Westwood Middle School in Manchester, TN. Ms. Rhonda loved her students and they loved her. She was an inspiration to all that knew her. Ms. Dotson attended Montevallo University in Montevallo, AL, where she began her early acting career participating in local traveling dinner theaters. Rhonda later moved to Burbank, CA, to pursue her acting career where she starred in television and movies. Rhonda attended Calvary Bible Church in Burbank and taught children’s Sunday school classes. Rhonda and her son, Trevor, moved back home to Hillsboro after 30 years in Burbank. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Manchester where she taught a children’s Sunday school class. Rhonda loved her flower garden and being outside. She also loved interior designing and antiques. Rhonda is survived by her parents, Dale and Elsie Dotson; son, Trevor Lythgow; brothers, David (Paula) Dotson and Greg (Rhonda) Dotson; several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at First Baptist Church in Manchester, TN. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow visitation at 1:00pm at the church with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating.
