Obituary of James Michael "Jimmy" Bush

Westland, Michigan – Mr. James Michael “Jimmy” Bush, age 68, passed away February 16, 2023 at his home in Westland, MI from cancer surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy was born August 24, 1954, to Charlie and Lucille Bush in Tullahoma, TN. He was raised in Westland, MI and the Fredonia Community of Manchester, TN with his two brother Larry and Glen. Most of Jimmy’s life was spent with his grandparents Vance and Myrtle Broyles and his cousin Zella in Fredonia. His grandparents were an important role model in his life. Jimmy and his wife, the former Charlotte Morgan of Hillsboro, TN made their home in Westland, MI with their sons and grandchildren, Jamie and Christy, grandchildren, Jacob and Shelby, Willie and Sharon, and grandchildren Shane and Camron. With his marriage to Charlotte, he felt blessed to call Revice and Katherine Morgan , their children Donna, Sharon, Revice Jr., and Rouk his family. Jimmy’s move to Michigan started a lifelong career in connection with Ford Motor Company at Carron and Company, Ford Motor, and Roush. He was a sheet metal fabricator, where he worked on vehicle design and in the development test lab as well as the crash program. During the Iraq War, Jimmy worked for Navistar Defense traveling to the US Military Bases testing the armor plating and durability of the military vehicles working to make changes and enhancements for the safety of our soldiers. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 1:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home.
