Manchester, Tennessee – Mrs. Jeanne Suzanne Cunningham, 90, passed away Monday April 1, 2019 at Lebanon Health and Rehabilitation in Lebanon, Tennessee. She was born in Greenville, Texas on January 29, 1929 to Tell Stringer and Thelma Athae Pardue, who preceded her in death, along with her half-sister Sarah Clair Stringer.
Suzanne was a devout follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, and faithful student of the Bible. She was a member of Manchester First Methodist Church and had attended Bob Jones University.
Born with a passion for music, she was frequently found in a church choir, and spent a small time as a semi-professional opera singer. Her other passions included cooking for others and the care of her numerous pets.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia “Genna” Katherine Luke; sons, Paul Ray Stidham, James Binford Stidham and Scott Andrew Stidham; and grandchildren John Michael Luke, Jason Andrew Luke, Adam Richardson Luke, David Andrew Stidham, Christopher Daniel Stidham, Melinda Amber Stidham, and Jessica Lynn Stidham.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 8th at First Methodist Church in Manchester, with Minister Randy Brown officiating and burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Sunday at Central Funeral Home, Manchester, Tennessee and 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday at First Methodist Church.
