Unionville, Tennessee – Mrs. Gayla Dean Mitchell, 67, passed away Monday June 15, 2020 at her home in Unionville, Tennessee. She was born in Dallas, Texas on November 7, 1952 to Dean Luttrell and Jackie Ann Griffin Luttrell who preceded her in death along with her brother, Harold Luttrell.
Gayla worked as a seamstress at H.A. Levy and Bachrach department stores in Nashville before her retirement. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, James N. Mitchell; daughter, Caren (Gregory) Fisher, Unionville; brother, Ricky (Linda) Luttrell, Terrell, TX; sister, Justine Parker-Jones (Greg Hall), Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, Erin and Ensley Fisher.
