Obituary of Jessie Rigney

Manchester, Tennessee – Mrs. Jessie Maude Rigney, age 76, of Manchester, TN, passed away on August 24, 2020, in Manchester. Mrs. Rigney was born in McMinnville, TN, to her late parents Hyson D. Lamb and Willie Mae Rice. She was a cook and waitress in McMinnville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Roy E. Walker Jr., and brother, John Thomas Lamb. Mrs. Rigney is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James Rigney, Manchester, TN; sons, Elvis Eugene Lamb and James Allen Rigney; sister, Audrey Clemmons, Manchester, TN; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral serviced will be conducted on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Morrison, TN.
