It was my honor to be able to be Bill's friend and Pastor for the last several years. I knew when Bill Dent said...."Pastor I'm praying for you." I didn't have to wonder, he was a man of his word, and he LOVED Jesus!! Miss you buddy, but enjoy your homegoing. Say hello to everyone up there for us and we will see you again!

any time that I didn't leave with a smile and feeling better after being with Bill. So long ago... yet so dear to remember. Those
nights playing basketball at Trevecca's gym and softball and lunches. He loved Jesus and he showed in word and deed.

Bill was such a sweet and tender soul. Any time he testified or preached his true passion and love for his Lord and for winning the lost was apparent and real. I loved when Bill would preach and he would say, "why do we always get so hype for basketball, football, baseball, hockey or any sports team & we don't get excited for Jesus!" It was always a challenging question to me. When Bill got so he couldn't walk and was in the wheelchair full time, he continued to do God's work by putting together a prayer hour in our church. Bill truly loved his Lord!
I can imagine how he is just basking in the Lord's presence, no more pain no more wheelchair, no more sorrow.
Christina you are in out thought and prayers!
