Obituary of Steven Joe Majors

Hillsboro, Tennessee - Mr. Steven Joe Majors, age 60, of Hillsboro, TN, passed from this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022, in Manchester, TN. Mr. Majors was born in Beechgrove, TN, to his late father James Stanley Majors and surviving mother Billie Evon Lambert Majors. He and his wife, Melissa, are members of Rutledge Hill Community Church. Mr. Majors loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and church family. He always told his kids, “you don’t matter any more, the grandkids do.” Mr. Majors enjoyed playing guitar, singing, fishing and sitting out back by the fire. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Majors and brother, James Majors. Mr. Majors is survived by his wife of 26 years, Melissa Majors; children, Craig (Annie) Majors, Jessica (Kanawful) Massingille, Chris (Ashley) Majors, Steven (Paige) Majors, Tiffany Alford, Josh (Haley) Majors, CJ (Chelsea) Majors, and Victoria Majors; grandchildren, Zephyr, Sawyer, Hope, Dax, Ripley, Sadie, Piper, Makayla, Atticus, Preston, Peyton, Crixus, Conner, Kinsley, Lumen, Hazel, and Clementine. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 10:00am until 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 2:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Mike Rigsby officiating.
