Obituary of Shirley Elizabeth Williams

Manchester, Tennessee - Mrs. Shirley Elizabeth Williams, age 65, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life on Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Murfreesboro, TN. Mrs. Williams was born in McMinnville, TN, to her late parents Elmo Forrest Roberts and Wilma Jean Tucker. She was a hairstylist and cosmetologist and loved making people feel and look beautiful. On May 26, 1998, she married her husband of 23 and a half years Richard Grier Williams. She loved to help and save animals. Mrs. Williams was a “fixer” and was always there to help anyone who needed it. She and her husband are members of Rover Baptist Church in Rover, TN. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Richard Williams; sons, Richard Williams, Jr. and Daniel Edmondson; four legged children, Murphy, Izzy, and Fergie. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Bullington officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
