Obituary of John Mack Yearwood

Manchester, Tennessee - Mr. John Mack Yearwood, age 79, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Yearwood was born in Rutherford Co., TN to his late parents Robert Yearwood and Delia O’Neal Yearwood. He worked for Samsonite for over 30 years then went to General Mills, working as a machinist at both places. He was a handyman, could fix or build anything, and was a hard working man. Mr. Yearwood was a good man and took very good care of his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He would also help anyone in need at any given time. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Yearwood and sister, Robbie Caldwell. Mr. Yearwood is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Yearwood; son, Eddie Sanders; daughter, Karen (Chris) Hayes; brother, Sterling Yearwood; grandchildren, Bryan (Jamie) Sanders, Kyle Hayes, Shelby Hayes (Tyler) Veron; great grandchildren, Alyssa Sanders, Kaylee Sanders, Kayne Sanders, and Nolan Veron. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 11:00am at Fredonia Cemetery in Coffee County. Burial will immediately follow.
